Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974. After studying industrial design in Madrid and Paris he joined Fabrica – the Benetton - funded design and communication academy in Italy – in 1997 where he directed the design department until 2003. Hayon set up his own studio practice in the year 2000 and dedicated himself fully to his personal projects from 2003 onward, today he is one of the most acclaimed creators worldwide.
Naoto Fukasawa is a designer whose “supernormal” working method involves an interdisciplinary approach and interactive design. Fukasawa collaborates with global companies and brands in countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Spain, while also working as a consultant for leading Japanese firms.
David Chipperfield established his own practice in 1985. In 2012, he was appointed Director of the 13th International Architecture Exhibition. His most recent ongoing projects include: the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Reims, France; the Elizabeth House office and residential development in London; the Palace of Justice in Salerno, Italy; a headquarters building for the Amorepacific Museum of Art in Seoul; and the recently completed Mudec Museum of Cultures in Milan (2016).
